Masjid Naminah

Masjid Aminah, the only mosque situated at the desert boarder between Mina and Arafah. It opens only once a year during the Hajj period. "Masjid" means "mosque" in Arabic.

After the Hajj season, during the sightseeing, we were brought back to this place. Staring at the emptiness of the desert, recalling the day of Arafah... the moving crowds and millions of people seated on the ground as far as you could see. Your heart still trembled.

Use Color Balance: Brightened the Structure layer. Sky layer reduce Magenta, add Cyan and Blue.

Islamic New Year - 1 Muharam 1428H / 20 Jan 2007 CE.

Picture taken from 12th story of Movenpick Hotel. Hahnemann's staff room. We had just finished the doa for beginning of the year 1428H. Can see the people waiting for Ishak (the 5th prayer of the day) right outside the mosque.


This holy mosque in Madinah, is the mosque of Muhammad (s.a.w), the Messenger of Allah.

Updates of the missing 2 months.

I have not been around lately. A lot of things happened since my last entry.

I had gone for a Laproscopy scan and had to rest at my mum's place for days.

After returning home weak, my hubby had been ignoring me. He was having his own problem. My marriage almost hit crisis. Alhamdulillah, we had managed to resolve it once more.

Then my patenal uncle was hospitalised for low pulse rate (at 35 per min). He later went through a surgery to inset a pulse maker for his heart to keep his heart pumping. Alhamdulillah, now he is resting at home.

I will try to complete my blog of "Our adventure from Mina to Arafah." the soonest. Been editing and editing, due to the mixture of feelings and experiences during that 5 hrs. I have to gather my thoughts and not going overboard, for it had been a fruitful and spiritual trip.
